What does science communication mean to us?

Successful science communication should fulfil several roles: (1) conveying scientific content in an understandable way, (2) fostering an open dialogue between experts and non-experts, and (3) using innovative communication tools, such as social media, hands-on laboratories or science cabaret, in order to reach a wide variety of different target groups.
