Faszination Technik: Uni Graz zeigt Laborforschung zum Anfassen

Bei der Faszination Technik Challenge in der Wirtschaftskammer Steiermark war auch die Universität Graz stark vertreten – mit anschaulichen Einblicken in moderne Laborarbeit und Bioinformatik für ein junges Publikum.

Im Rahmen der Faszination Technik Challenge in der Wirtschaftskammer Steiermark präsentierte sich die Universität Graz in starker Zusammenarbeit: Das Offene Labor Graz der 7. Fakultät bot gemeinsam mit dem Zentrum für Molekulare Biowissenschaften und dem Institut für Pharmazeutische Wissenschaften spannende Einblicke in den Alltag eines naturwissenschaftlichen Labors.

Besonderer Fokus lag auf dem Bereich der Bioinformatik – also der Frage, wie riesige Datenmengen aus dem Labor sinnvoll geordnet und ausgewertet werden können, um neue Erkenntnisse für die Forschung zu gewinnen. An interaktiven Stationen wurde gezeigt, wie moderne Forschung funktioniert – anschaulich, praxisnah und für junge Besucher:innen verständlich aufbereitet.

Das Interesse war groß, die Begeisterung spürbar – und der Tag ein voller Erfolg für die Wissenschaftsvermittlung.
